Silent Auction FAQ

What’s a silent auction?

You simply decide if there are any items you wish to bid on, and bid the highest amount you are willing to pay for the item. All bids are done in secret. To ensure the bidding is fair, they will be up for auction until the 15th November and results revealed on the 17th November. We will then contact the highest bidder and arrange payment and delivery up of their winning prize. 

100% of the funds raised from this will be going straight to Alder Hey in honour of Poppy Rocket

What happens if payment can’t be arranged?

If the highest bidder is unable to arrange payment, the item will go to the next highest bidder. 

Is there a reserve price?

There is. In the unlikely event a bid is below the reserve price we’ll get in touch with the bidder to let them know.
