Four. Love replaced everything.
And just to keep us on our toes, I went into labour on the 10th of November, this one didn’t fancy waiting much longer. So, at 34 weeks, and in just a 38-minute labour, I gave birth to a little girl. The first Keeling girl in generations. Our girl.
Along with meeting Millie, was the best day of my life. I’ve never felt stress leave my body so quickly, I’ve never felt love replace everything in life, I’d just met the baby girl I was told might not survive and in that moment, god, that moment, I could re-live every second of every day.
The next 4 days (and a half - I got Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and half of Tuesday) were the blurriest, most humbling, memorable days of my life.
I could sit and tell you what happened second by second, but I’m not going to.
